International and Australian guest teachers will be in town from Monday, April 15 to Wednesday, April 17 town to run a number of classes on ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and more.
"This is a great opportunity for children in regional areas to be part of a fun week of dancing and building their skills and confidence," Ballet Workshops Australia volunteer Olivia Bailey said.
"Often workshops like these are only available in cities, however we believe that dance is something that everyone should have access to and be able to enjoy."
The classes are open to people of all ages and abilities, with the workshop to be split into two streams to cater for each student's age and experience.
Each stream will run simultaneously with a separate timetable of classes.
The workshops will run from 9.30am to 2pm with a supervised lunch break each day. At the end of the three days a showcase will be held to give the students the opportunity to show family and friends what they have learnt.
There will also be an adult beginners class in the afternoon for any keen adults wishing to come along and try. No experience is necessary.
The cost of the workshop is $200 for the three days, with private coaching and choreography available upon request for an additional cost.
