Tamworth Marsupial Park will host Threatened Species Day, where visitors can see Australia’s wildlife up close and personal.
“The whole idea is just to promote threatened species, which ones we have in this area and ways people can help to conserve them,” Tamworth Local Land Services project officer Tim Watts said.
“The highlight is local ecologist Phil Sparks who will be here with his menagerie with a demonstration of all the little marsupials you never get to see at 11am.”
