In an interactive exhibition, White will exhibit a number of her new works, while simultaneously painting live in the gallery.
While this is a new concept for the rising star, she’s looking forward to the opportunity for people to see first-hand the process being her pieces.
“Painting is quite a solitary past time, which I very much enjoy, so it will be quite a new experience working amongst the buzz of the gallery,” White said.
“It will however be a great opportunity for people to come in and see first-hand the process behind the finished works, and the – sometimes painstaking – attention to detail required to bring artwork to life.”

Her new works revolve around images of local landmarks and scenes, all glowing with her unique signature style depicting a contemporary look at nostalgic rural Australia.
While White has held successful exhibitions at The Moree Gallery, Michael Reid Gallery Murrurundi and Rose St Trading Co, and garnered invites into the The Other Art Fair in Melbourne and Sydney and Goondiwindi’s Art Aspect Show, of which she won first prize in the still life category.
She was also a finalist in the highly coveted 2017 Pro Hart Outback Art Prize.
“My studio at home is quite modest, in fact until recently it was just the spare bedroom,” White laughs.
“I’ve now outgrown that space and set up in a much larger, and more peaceful room off the garage, but who knows how painting in The Moree Gallery, surrounded by so much inspiration, may boost the creative juices!
“There is nothing better than being in my creative space, and I’m really looking forward to sharing this with everyone when I bring a slice of my studio to the gallery.”
From Monday, August 27 through to Friday, August 31 White will be exhibiting a number of smaller works in the gallery, and will be painting in the window each afternoon from 2pm to 4pm.
