MOREE Rural Crime Investigation Team are appealing for information in relation to a Hereford that was deliberately run over at Gum Flat Reserve, leaving it with a broken back leg and forcing it to eventually be put down.

Police believe that a vehicle drove onto the reserve sometime between Thursday and Saturday. Tyre marks indicate that the driver chased the defenseless animal, which was in calf at the time.
