With an entry fee of just 50 cents and a limit of one entry per person, per class, there’s sections for children aged six years and under, nine years and under, 10 to 12 years and those aged 13 to 16.
There’s four classes for the little children – chocolate spiders, decorated patty cakes, three iced milk arrowroot biscuits and a necklace of sweets made from lollies threaded on fishing line.
For the older children there are heaps of options including chocolate chip muffins, rocky roads, slice of any variety, chocolate brownie and more, but make sure you check the schedule before you start cooking.
Entries and conditions and the cooking schedule is available at the Moree Show Society’s website: www.moreeshowsociety.org. Here is a recipe for chocolate spiders – it is however, only a guide and entrants may use their own variation.
