Each of the three sections of the retirement village have now had their Christmas parties; Nan Crane Lodge’s was on November 25, Federation Lodge had theirs on December 2 and Perry James Lodge celebrated last Friday, December 7.
Perry James Lodge activities officer Virginia Nevins said there were smiles all round at each party.
“Everyone enjoyed it; we had a visit from Santa and a lovely meal,” she said.
“Family were invited and those who didn’t have family, we made up for that.”
Santa handed out presents to all residents with a kiss for the ladies and handshake for the gentlemen.
