The winners of the raffle were: Third prize was won by Carol Duke, second prize went to Tony Peachey and Bev King won first prize.
In previous years the ladies have supported numerous charities including Fred Hollows Foundation, Westpac Rescue Helicopter Serivce and the Salvation Army.
More than $1000 was raised for the Fred Hollows Foundation and the ladies travelled to Bourke to see Fred’s grave whilst raising funds.
Locally, the ladies often visit elders at Fairview and are heavily involved in a mentoring program for young, Aboriginal ladies called Sista Speak.
The nine ladies thanked everyone who helped them throughout the years and who purchased tickets for this year’s raffle.
The ladies include: Eileen Raveneau, Brenda Porter, Edna Craigie, Lorraine Taylor, Helen Porter, Delma Brennan, Margaret Sampson, Pam Smith and Zona Moore.
