Big Sky Libraries has always been one step ahead when it comes to delivering online resources, offering members free mobile apps where they can access ebooks, emagazines, eaudio, stream movies, use research databases and online newspapers; all without leaving their house.
Big Sky Libraries manager Sally Walters believes that it is a great time to take advantage of the online services available to library members.

"There are plenty of resources available at your fingertips 24/7 from Big Sky Libraries, accessible to members through our website or by downloading apps. Online services for books, audio, magazines and film are all available and free for members," she said.
"Community members can become a member of Big Sky Libraries without even setting foot in the Library. It can be completed online at https://bsl.nsw.gov.au and your library card will be mailed out. Of course, if you need any assistance, please give us a call on (02) 6757 3374."
In addition to the online resources, Library staff are offering Easter holiday activity packs, Bright Sparks Mystery Bags and Brain Training Activities to junior and senior library members which will be distributed by post.
The packs will include activity booklets, puzzles, games, craft activities and science experiments, parents or senior citizens who email in a photo of themselves or their children with their completed work will also go into the draw to win a $30 Love Local Gift Card.
"As we cannot offer our usual Easter holiday programs and activities, we have found another way to deliver this service to children and senior citizens at home over the holidays," Mrs Walters said.
"There are four different packs available to suite every age, 3-5 years old, 5 years and older, 8 years and older and senior citizens.
"To receive a pack, adults should email in an expression of interest as soon as possible, packs are limited."
If you are interested in receiving a holiday activity pack from Big Sky Libraries please email sarah.dean@mpsc.nsw.gov.au and include a library membership number, full name and address and child's age if applicable.
Once members have received their activity packs, remember to email back a photo of you or your child with their completed work and library membership number to go into the draw to win a $30 Love Local Gift Card.
