The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to Moree Hospital on Wednesday afternoon to transport the man to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.

Late on Tuesday evening, the rescue chopper was called to a horse riding accident at Watson's Creek north of Tamworth.
It is believed the lady fell from the horse and sustained a broken leg before dragging herself about two kilometres to call for help.
She was transported to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital in a stable condition.
Earlier on Tuesday afternoon, a 65-year-old man was airlifted from Armidale Hospital to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.
He was suffering from a medical condition.
