Council’s waste officer Tahra Sayers explained the aim of MobileMuster was to keep old mobiles and accessories out of landfill and ensure they are recycled safely, securely and ethically. “Each of the 128 recycled mobiles from Moree Plains residents helped provide food relief for someone in need.” Old mobile phones can be left at centres in Moree, Mungindi or Boggabilla.
