- Ministers agreed $7.5 million apiece in public funds will be made available to fund “Yes” and “No” campaigns.
- The vote will be held on February 11, 2017.
- Government ministers and the opposition are divided on the whether a plediscite is fair or whether it will be damaging to Australian society.
