The boys were joined by a TV crew shooting for the Matty Johns Show with the episode going to air on Foxtel this week.
We weren’t able to track someone down before the paper went to print for a comment but Gill Bros left this comment on their Facebook page:
“It was a great day at “Campfire” on Tuesday when rugby league stars Nathan Hindmarsh and Brian Fletcher from the Matty Johns footy show on Fox Sports was here to film a segment to be shown on Fox (pay TV) this Monday night, and you wouldn’t wish to meet two better blokes. It was a credit to them.”
Upper Horton Pony Club president, Dianne Lebroqc, said the family kindly invited camp participants to the property to watch the action.
“The kids thought it was great,” she said.
“They were given a footy and had a game out in the arena.
“They got to meet the guys and get their autographs before watching them have a go at riding a mule and a bull in their lycra,” she said.
“They were really nice.”
