Amongst our special guests coming on Saturday will be Jordan Rodrigues who plays Christian in ABC3’s Dance Academy.
Jordan, who attends the National Academy of Dance on the show, will be teaching anyone who is interested some of his hip hop routine from the show.
He will later judge our dance-off competition where you can put your new skills to the test or just make up your own moves.
Some of the bigger ‘kids’ might remember Jordan from his role as Jai on Home and Away a couple of years ago for which he was nominated for a Silver Logie for most popular new talent.
We still have our other two Home and Away stars coming along too.
Lisa Gormley, who plays Bianca will be there along with David Jones- Roberts, who plays Xavier.
Unfortunately Dan Ewing (Heath) was unable to make it at the last minute due to other committments.
Our other special guest - actor, singer and songwriter Michael Falzon, is sure to be a hit with the adult audience.
He will be performing some of the hits from the world-wide theatre production We Will Rock You.
Aside from our celebrities we will also have some very special locals performing for us too.
Aside from all the singing and dancing there will be sporting demonstrations and stalls for anyone wanting to sign-up to the local clubs.
There will be market stalls for you to browse and plenty of activities for the whole family.
For the littlies we will have a jumping castle, painting and a slip and slide along with other games.
We have plenty of traditional competitions organised for the day and a few flood-orientated ones too.
Included in the schedule will be a gumboot toss and yabbie races.
For our rural residents NSW Farmers president Fiona Simson will also be present.
We hope everyone comes along to enjoy the day.
The event will be hosted at Taylor Oval from 3pm on Saturday.
Entry is $5 for adults and $2 per child. Under school age children are free.
All the money raised on the day will go to the Salvation Army who will distribute it to local flood victims.
A full schedule of events will be published in Thursday’s edition of the Champion.
