Twenty-four names were added to Moree's Korea War honour roll, while 50 more were added to the Vietnam War roll.
One of the names added to the Vietnam War honour roll was that of Vietnam veteran Robert Bradbery.
Eight years ago, during a visit to Moree, Mr Bradbery discovered his name was not on the Vietnam honour roll. He approached Moree Plains Shire Council and helped kick-start the process of adding other names to the roll.

"I had grown up in Moree and was conscripted from Moree into the Australian Army on July 17, 1968," Mr Bradbery said.
"I spent 12 months in Vietnam and I was keen to have my name inscribed on that plaque.
"Today my ambition was finally achieved.
"I would like to thank the Moree Plains Shire Council for assisting me in achieving this outcome.
"More particularly within the MPSC I would like to thank specifically Michelle Van Aarde, Alan Lawrance and mayor Katrina Humphries."
Another Moree Vietnam veteran Robert McDonald was also among those names added to the honour roll.
"Mr Bradbery and Mr McDonald spent most of their life in Moree but weren't born in Moree," Councillor John Tramby OAM explained.
"It made it very difficult to trace them when their family were no longer in the town."
The addition of the names has been a two-year project for Moree Plains Shire Council, which called for submissions of names to be added back in 2018.
Cr Tramby, who served during the Vietnam War, said it goes to show how many people from the district were involved in the more recent wars, particularly Vietnam.
"What we've got here today is showing the contributions that these Moree soldiers did in Korea, Vietnam and Malaya," he said.
Cr Tramby explained that because there was no official record of the nominal roll for the Korea, Vietnam and Malaya wars, it was difficult to track down local names.
