The under-17s faced a tough away trip to take on the Tamworth Kangaroos in a special Jacob Vallender memorial match.
The under-strength Suns fought hard but the Roosters proved far too strong on the day, coming away with a 24-21-165 to 2-6-18 win, Connor Williams and Jack Ross kicking the goals for Moree.
The women were back in action against the Gunnedah Bulldogs for the second week in a row.
With the Tamworth Kangaroos not fielding a women's side this season, a number of their players made the trip across to help bolster the Suns squad.
However, it was once again the home side that walked away with the victory, the Bulldogs dominant in a 22-13-145 to 1-3-9 win.
After a much improved fortnight for the senior men, they were met with a very dangerous Bulldogs team, who are well on their way to back-to-back titles in 2020.
After travelling short, the Suns were helped by some loan players from the Bulldogs, but the defending premiers showed they're the team to beat with a resounding 39-31-265 to 1-4-10 win, with Tyson Green kicking the loan goal for the Suns.
