Group 19 is likely to go through some major changes for the upcoming season, with a draft draw released in January.
As it stands, the draw put forward would see an Eastern and Western Conference system.
The Boomerangs are set to enter two teams in the competition, with a first grade side in the Western Conference and reserve grade in the Eastern Conference.
Chris Binge will return to coach the Boomerangs 1 side, that will remain in the Western Conference, while Ed Saunders will coach Boomerangs 2 in the Eastern Conference.
Preseason began for the club back in November, and Binge said the training sessions have been going really well, with around 30 to 35 players on average over the last three weeks.
Despite some uncertainties over how the Group 19 competition will look, as well as the Boars moving to Group 4, he is still confident of a strong season ahead.
"We aren't qualming about that," Binge said of Group 19 and the Boars.
"We are where we are. Our club will function as normal. We have no control over the competition running and structuring. They've gone with what they think is going to work.
"The only thing I can guarantee is our club will be strong and healthy.
"We'll be competitive again. We've got an opportunity to do something special. We've been in this position before where we've tried to get a three-peat.
"I think there's every chance this year, if we keep the majority of senior players involved, I think we can do something really special."
For the other coaching roles, Chris Binge Jr will take on the coaching role for the ladies league tag, who will be seeking some improvement after being knocked out in the minor semi final last season.
The under-18s side will be led by Jeramy Smith. The juniors were a late inclusion in the 2019 competition after struggling for numbers early on, but they will be hoping for a strong start to the year.
2020 marks a big year for the Boomerangs, with the club celebrating its 95th anniversary as well as the opening of its brand new clubhouse and ground in May.
The Boomerangs will also be competing in the NSW Challenge Cup which kicks off this weekend.
The Challenge Cup invites teams that finished either first or second in their respective competitions to compete in a knockout tournament.
Moree have drawn Dubbo CYMS in the opening around on Saturday.
