Held in Wellington from January 20 to 21, Armstrong and the Sixers have played three games against Metro Sixers, Metro Thunder and Country Thunder.
In the first game against Metro Sixers, Armstrong didn't bat as her side made 7-91 off their 20 overs, but opened the bowling and finished with figures of 0-10 off two overs as Metro Sixers chased down the total with just eight balls remaining.
The second match ended better for Country Sixers, as they beat Metro Thunder by two wickets in a thriller.
Metro Thunder made 6-93, with Armstrong once again opening the bowling with a very economic 0-2 off her two overs.
Armstrong then contributed three runs as Country Sixers chased down their target with just three balls to spare, making 8-94.
She showed improvement once again in the third match against Country Thunder.
The Country Sixers lost by three wickets in another nail-biter, but Armstrong made nine runs and took two wickets with the ball.
Country Sixers were bowled out for 80 in their innings, with Country Thunder making 7-81, chasing down their target with three balls remaining.
Armstrong got more opportunity with the ball in this game, taking 2-5 off her four overs, including two maidens.
In the final game of the tournament, the Country Sixers took on Metro Thunder in a third place playoff, but this game did not go to plan for Armstrong's side.
They were bowled out for 65, with Armstrong making four runs. Metro Thunder managed to chase it down, losing no wickets in the process. Armstrong didn't get a bowl in the final innings.
