After two strong wins to kick off their Connolly Cup campaign, Moree weren't able to make it three in a row, going down to Narrabri by four wickets on Sunday, albeit not without controversy.

After a two wicket win against Gunnedah and then a dominant 108-run victory over Quirindi, where Quirindi were held to just 22 runs, Moree hosted Narrabri at Ron Harborne Oval.
The day didn't get off to a great start, with no umpire turning up for the match.
Moree and District Cricket Association president Glen Holland said they'd organise to umpire themselves, which he said was "probably a bad decision."
There were a few decisions some players were not happy with that led to some heated discussions on the field.
"There was a bit of he said, he swore at me, he threatened me," Holland said.
"Narrabri then rang me later and said they want to do a report on it, but there were no umpires involved."
Moree batted first and got off to a horror start, with Mark Stewart bowled out for a duck.
From there, they weren't able to string together any significant partnerships, but they managed to get to 5/128, with a few players making starts.
However, they lost their final five wickets for just 23 runs and were bowled out for 151.
Wyatt Roberts and Ben Legg both top scored with 25 apiece, with Kyle O'Connor (18) and Chris Holland (16) the next best for Moree.
Moree fought valiantly with the ball but and had their opponents six down but Narrabri were able to come away with the win.
"The guys that have stood up for the reps have been fantastic," Holland said.
"[The defeat] still puts us in the running. We've got the bye and the last game against Peel Valley, they're running last, so it puts us in good stead to finish in the top two and that's all you need to do."
Moree will face Peel Valley Bush Cricket on February 2.
