Students were able to show their grandparents their classrooms and give them an idea of what's involved in a normal school day, including classroom activities as well as some time on their computers.
Everyone then got to enjoy a morning tea out in the sun, giving grandparents and their children some more time to catch up and mingle with other students.
It's a busy period for St Philomena's School, with the Grooving to Groups dance concert on this week as well.
The school will also hold its annual Spring Fair on Sunday, with plenty of activities on offer for the whole community.
Year seven students will also take part in the zine fair next Tuesday, showcasing their collections of poetry they have devised throughout the term.
