Moree was the first stop in a three-day tour throughout the North West, where the club are hosting a series of cricket clinics as part of Cricket NSW's Country Blitz program.
Current Sixers player and Australian test player Peter Nevill made the trip up along with Cricket NSW pathways member Emma Hughes.
Moree Public School students were taken through a number of drills to practise their bowling and batting skills and meet some current stars and upcoming cricket talents.
"Many of our regional cricket communities have been doing it tough over the last few years and we hope that having some of our players travelling to their regions provides them with a boost in spirits," Cricket NSW general manager of community cricket Ivan Spyrdz said of the tour.
""For many regions, this annual event signifies the cricket season is open and ready to go for the year ahead."
The tour will move on to Inverell, Glen Innes and Armidale before finishing off in Tamworth on Thursday.
