Fighting it out against the best of the best will be local riders Dylan and Oliver Marchand, who are looking forward to the opportunity to riding in such a big competition on their home turf.
Moree will host the eighth round of the MX Nationals, and with just three rounds remaining, the finish is setting up to be one of the tightest in years.
In Thor MX1, just 12 points separate first to third, while in Motul MX2, 10 points separate first and second.

18-year-old Dylan Marchand has been competing in MX2, and currently sits in 21st, but has recently had some bike troubles.
"The last couple of rounds I got into the top 15 and the bike blew up," Dylan said.
"Last weekend (round seven at Gympie), I was running 14th and then my bike blew up.
"I've had two rounds where my bike blew up. It was a bit annoying, but for this round I'm looking to get that top 10."
At 16 years of age, Oliver Marchand competes in the under-19s MXD, but has only been able to ride in two events this year, after injuring his shoulder earlier in the year.
"I've gotten 14th and 16th overall," Oliver said.
"I don't have as many riders. It's really competitive but it's not as many of us."
Both riders are feeling good about their preparation heading into the race, going to the gym three times a week as well as hitting the track three to four times a week.
"This week we've put in a pretty solid week and coming into the season, we put a lot more work in," Dylan said.
"Last year I didn't work as hard, but this year I've worked three times harder.
"I've put everything into it this year."
Returning from a serious shoulder injury which required surgery, Oliver has just 10 weeks of riding behind him leading into the Moree leg of nationals, but he's still confident, with a goal of finishing top 10.
"I can do it. I've been quick enough, I've just made a few mistakes," Oliver said.
"I should hopefully be there this round."
Dylan has the same goal for next weekend, and is hoping he can move up the leaderboard between now and the end of nationals.
"Top 10 is my goal," he said.
"To crack into the top 10 for this round and the next two rounds the weekend after.
"That's the goal and the goal is to finish top 20 for the overall championships."
Both Dylan and Oliver are excited to see the MX Nationals return to Moree, and they believe competing on their home track should give them an extra edge.
Dylan was just 11 years old and watching from the sidelines the last time the nationals were in town.
"Now it's actually happening and I'm racing in it," he said.
"Last year it didn't come. This year we wanted it to come because not many people know about it really.
"It's a pretty quiet sport, but now it's coming here and it's unreal."
Moree Motorcycle Club is encouraging as many people to come down to their motorcross track to watch the country's best riders go head to head and to get behind the local boys that are competing.
Dylan and Oliver wanted to thank their sponsors Thomas Lee Motorcycles, Kwala Racing, Shell, Bridgestone, Yamaha, Five Gloves and Lode's Motorcycle Repairs for helping them get ready for the big event.
Gates will open at 7am on Sunday, July 28 with racing to kick off at 8am.
