Kelly James is the new president, Andrew De Deugd is secretary, Alison Smith the treasurer and Erin De Deugd holds the registrar role.
The club is still on the lookout for a vice president and they still require more parent helpers.
"There's a lot of kids in this town that could use the extra training in little athletics and we don't want to see it disappear," Mrs James said.
"We don't want to see sports for kids disappear cause there's not enough hands on the ground."
Club stalwart Wal Kujukjow will remain to teach parents interested in learning javelin, discus and shot put skills to enable them to help other children before he moves on.
Brett Brazel and Wilma Noble will assist with throws and age management of the children and Lew Macy will continue coaching long jump.
"Parents don't have to be coaches, they can come through us and get the skills to be able to help kids out a bit," Mrs James said.
The club has a number of big plans for the upcoming year, with little athletics to begin in August and a number of come and try days planned for mid-July.
"We have Adam Jolissee, he's from Little Athletics Australia, going to come and visit all the schools in the area and within the next month or so, do some skills days," Mrs James said.
"Later in the year we'll have a gala day and we hope to have some children compete in the regional and zone carnivals later in they year."
Children aged 11 and over who join Moree Little Athletics Club will also be automatically joined to Little Athletics Australia, giving them the opportunity to join any athletics event, not just the school competitions.
The club are currently participating in cross country training and preparation on Wednesdays at 5pm at Bougton Oval.
If anyone is interested in joining or learning more about the club and the skills required for all the events, you can contact Kelly James on 0408 652 455 or head down to Boughton Oval on Wednesday afternoons.
