The main event of the night, held at the Moree Memorial Hall this Saturday, April 6, will be Moree's Brent McDonald taking on Gunnedah's Micheal Klinchafer over four rounds of the north west middleweight title.
"The main supporting bout on the evening is captain coach of the Moree Boars Stanley 'Lights Out' Swan, takes on up and coming boxer from Macksville by the name of Mitchell Lieve," Moree Boxing Academy president Danny Cheetham said.
Another fight which is sure to garner a lot of interest is Moree's unbeaten central west bantamweight champion Zac Grouch takes on Sydney up and comer Levi Keony.
"This will be an action packed bout," Cheetham said.
"Sparks are expected to fly as these two bantamweights stand toe to toe and let the bombs go."
Jack Ross and Connor Williams are two more Moree boxers that will feature on the night.
There are corporate tables available for patrons who will be served a two course meal and drinks throughout the night, of which three have already been sold.
There will also be bar and barbecue facilities available to the general public, as well as raffles and auction items up for sale.
“It's the biggest fundraiser for the Moree Boxing Academy,” Cheetham said.
“We try to keep membership and fees as low as possible at the academy so it's affordable for everyone so it's important for people to come out and support the tournament so we can keep our academy running.
“We’ve had some really huge tournaments in the past and we hope this will be no different.”
Tickets are $40 for an adult and $20 for pensioners and children aged 17 and under and will be on sale at the door all day on Saturday.
The doors will open on the night at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start.
