It will be a busy weekend for all involved and it has already garnered a lot of interest.

Event organiser Greg Mullens said the preparations are "all looking good" at the moment.

The weekend will begin with a tour of the Albert Street campus of Moree Secondary College on the Friday at 4pm, lead by current teacher John O'Connor.

A Moree Reunion prelude dance will be held at the Moree Golf Club on Friday night, where the greatest hits of the last 50 years will be playing.

There will then be a tour of the Carol Avenue campus at 8.30am on the Saturday morning before the main event on Saturday night.

Moree Services Club will be open for dinner and the 60s, 70s and 80s dress up dance.

Dinner will begin at 6pm and the dance will be running from 8pm onwards.

"There's about 150 people attending the services club on Saturday night," Mr Mullens said.

"It's free, the entertainment is all free that night so they don't need to pay to go into the services club.

"People just buy their own drinks and food."

After the big Saturday night, people can head to the Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre at 11am on the Sunday morning, to relax and continue to catch up in the hot pools and spas baths.

There will also be a night sky tour on Sunday night, beginning at 7pm in the paddock on the corner of Boston Street and Amaroo Drive.

There will also be plenty of other activities happening across the weekend.

On Saturday, the Classic Wallabies will headline a massive day with a match against the Central North Barbarians.

There is also the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Moree Volunteer Support Group Charity Golf Day on Sunday morning and a Moree historical walk on Sunday afternoon.
