The Moree tournament will be held at the Moree Town Hall on April 6 and will feature a number of bouts between representatives from the Moree Boars and Narrabri Blues rugby league clubs.
The night will be headlined by Boars captain coach Stan Swan taking on Blues captain coach Brenton Cochran.
“Another bout creating a lot of interest will be the Boars’ Luke Hetherington taking on the Narrabri Blues’ Daniel ‘Jobbo’ Jobson,” Moree Boxing Academy president Danny Cheetham said.
“They’re both enforcers of their teams. Luke has had a good boxing career when he was younger for the boxing academy."
Cheetham is still in negotiations with the Narrabri Blues to finalise the cards.

There will be corporate tables available for patrons who will be served a two course meal and drinks throughout the night.
Anyone who is interested in purchasing a table can contact Cheetham at the Moree Boxing Academy.
There will also be bar and barbecue facilities available to the general public.
“It's the biggest fundraiser for the Moree Boxing Academy,” Cheetham said.
“We try to keep membership and fees as low as possible at the academy so it's affordable for everyone so it's important for people to come out and support the tournament so we can keep our academy running.
“We’ve had some really huge tournaments in the past and we hope this will be no different.”
In the meantime, the boxing academy is taking four boxers to Sydney to compete at a Pro AM boxing tournament on March 9.
"Brent McDonald, Stanley Swan, Zack Crouch and Jack Ross will be competing on the bout to give them group experience and ensure they're rock hard for the Moree tournament."
