The Glen Innes minor league under 8 side led the A graders out for their clash against the Boars on Saturday with grins from ear-to-ear.

The juniors were given the opportunity to accompany the club’s senior players out on to the field for the Old Boys day fixture.
“That was a nice little touch from [A grade captain-coach] Nick Say, he arranged the kids to come into the sheds with them and run out with them,” Peterson said.
“They were pretty excited about it and that was what the day was about too.”
Say added: “They all loved it, the under 8s, you couldn't wipe the smile off their faces.
“They are the future of the footy club really so you want to keep them involved as much as you can really.”
It obviously proved to be a successful formula as the A grade Magpies went on to defeat the Moree Boars.
