Around 70 students from St Philomena’s School Moree, Moree Public School and Holy Trinity Inverell tested their brawn at Weebolla Oval, for a shot at the U12s regional competition.
“It’s a fantastic day to see so many kids and schools involved in this day,” said development manager for northwest NSW Rugby Garry Walsh.
The winners will go onto regional finals and then state championships in Sydney.
