Pearl Humphries, Kelsey Duke and Karlee Briggs each represented Club 2400 Moree Physie and Dance on the national stage recently, coming away with some top results.
Five-year-old Pearl was one of 12 juniors who qualified to represent Club 2400 by going through the Zone Championships at Tamworth before heading to Sydney to compete at the ADPA Australian Junior Nationals, held at the Concourse Theatre in Chatswood on Saturday, November 11.
Pearl performed her personal best in the heats at Nationals by reaching the Australian National Final, made up of the 12 best performers of her age division.
This achievement topped off a fantastic year for Pearl, who was also named Club 2400’s 2017 Junior Champion.
Meanwhile, Club 2400 seniors Kelsey Duke and Karlee Briggs also qualified in the top 12 at the APDA Australian National Final.
Kelsey and Karlee were two of 14 seniors to represent Club 2400 in the national qualifying heats.
Both girls will now go on to perform at the ADPA Senior Australian Championships at the Sydney Opera House on Sunday, December 3.
Kelsey and Karlee are no strangers to dancing at the Opera House, with both qualifying for the Senior National Championships last year, at which Karlee placed fifth in Australia.
This year Karlee was also named Club 2400’s Senior Champion.
