The under 12s and 13s cluster day will be a round-robin style event utilising two fields at Boughton Oval.
Moree Junior Rugby League president Paul Raveneau said five local boys were chosen to represent the Group 19 teams on the day.
Leith Bearnman, Layne Raveneau, Andrew Pegus, Javon Raveneau and Jermaine Craigie look forward to taking the field on Sunday.
“This cluster day is all about development and getting players ready for rep sides and bigger games like the Country Championships,” he said.
Raveneau said junior rugby league players would be travelling from Tamworth, Scone, Singleton, Inverell, Armidale, Glen Innes and surrounds.

The event will provide an opportunity for players to be challenged by others their age from different areas, as well as gelling with their teammates and making new friends.
“The 12s and 13s will go all right, I think.
“They’ve had a couple of trials against Group 4 in Barraba and Group 2 in Bellingen and they should be gelling pretty well by now,” he said.
Spectators are encourage to head to Boughton Oval from 10am to watch and support Moree’s Junior Rugby League players.
All U13s games will be played on field one and U12s will stay on field two. Group 19 will face Group 4 first, followed by Group 4 versus Group 21.
At 1am Group 19 will take on Group 21.
The canteen will be open throughout the day and a drink stand will be situated on the main oval.
“It’s going to be a big weekend of football in Moree so we should show some support for our local players,” Raveneau said.
