The boys joined players from Warialda, Tingha, Inverell, Glen Innes, Armidale and Guyra, and despite the boys’ defeat in their first two games, the experience proved invaluable, with both Hayden and Corey leaving the championships with man of the match honours for their skill and sportsmanship.
Junior Rugby League president Paul Raveneau along with team manager Jamie Mills headed to camp with the Moree players, and couldn't be more proud of their efforts.
“I was very proud of the boys making the side, it was a great experience for the four of them,” Moree junior league president Paul Raveneau said.
“It was a great opportunity to play against some bigger kids, camping, and getting to experience the life of a representative team.
“Just like that State of Origin sort of feeling.”
