When Inverell hosted their first ladies event in the Gaukrogers Holden Scramble on Wednesday, local golfers Lindy Goodman, Di Amos, Cecilia Baker and Suzie Moore decided to join the action.

The northern region section of the state-wide ambrose competition attracted 56 competitors creating 14 teams of four players each.
“We play four Holden Scrambles a year,” Ms Amos said. “We’re avid supporters of the event.
“We love the camaraderie and meeting like-minded people.”
Glen Innes emerged as the day’s victors and are now set to travel to the Hunter Valley for the NSW finals in February 2018.
