Rowena Public School P and C hosted a fundraising night of “flashback fun”.
Member Bec Smith said guests went to a lot of trouble to dress in their best 80s gear.
“Which looked fabulous,” she added.
Live auctions were held to raise money for the school and were well supported by locals.
LJ Hooker donated a weekend in Byron Bay and Fly Corporate donated a weekend in Brisbane.
“Their sales manager Geoff Woodham attended the evening to assist with the auction and present the package to the winning bidder,” Bec said.
A lucky door prize was donated by Moree Gallery and won by Merah North resident Kate Lennon.
Best dressed man went to Roger Sendall from Burren Junction who was Adam from ‘Adam and the Ants’.
Overall everyone enjoyed the evening whilst raising funds for Rowena Public School to continue maintaining two classrooms- K-2 and 3-6.
