Boys and girls are invited to Ron Harborne Oval to learn new skills and enhance their existing knowledge.
Moree Junior Cricket committee member Nick Bettington said each participant would take home a T20 bat and ball for being involved in the day.
“The clinic is delivered by qualified coaches that aim to develop batting skills, running between wickets, fielding skills, bowling and general knowledge of the game,” he said.
Many children may watch the Sixers play in the Big Bash League and aspire to one day be part of the game.
“It’s a great opportunity for Moree’s young cricketers and it should be a lot of fun too.”
The clinic will be held at Ron Harborne Oval from 8.30am until 1pm.
“Target ages are from seven years to 12 years.
“Hopefully the kids learn a few new things and have some fun.
“This should prepare them for the second half of the junior season which will start back on February 11.”
Cricketers are urged to take plenty of water, a hat, protective clothing and sunscreen.
Bettington said Moree was lucky enough to have Sydney Sixers players visit in the past.
