About 40-50 golfers began the Thursday evening competition in July, from there the top to scorers were invited to play in the annual shoot-out.
Orgaiser Howard Meppem said it was the fourth year the final had run.
“Ten players start on the first tee and after every hole one player is eliminated,” he said.
Paul Wilde, Graham Maynard, Ian Treloar, Gary Hardman, Phil Smith, Robert Morley, David Moore, Errol Lawlor, William Walker and Lindsay Williams took to the green at 2.30pm.
But it was Ian Treloar who won bragging rights as winner of the shoot-out, beating Lindsay Williams on the last hole.
Meppem said each hole saw another player eliminated until the last two play off.
“For fun if on any hole there is a tie, we have what we call a blind putt-off where the referee, me, places the ball on the green.
“While the first player putts any other player must turn his place to the green so he cannot see where the ball went. Closest to the hole continues,” he said.
He mentioned William Walker as a star of the day taking a 20-shot start handicap.
“And he was only beat at the second last hole. There was fantastic golfing shown all round.
“About 20 people followed us around the course, watching the shoot-out. I think everyone had a very enjoyable day,” Meppem said.
He congratulated Treloar and all players involved in Thursday evening golf.
