A teenager is believed to be behind the attempted armed hold-up of a Queanbeyan grocery store earlier this month.

CCTV footage has shown a boy aged about 16 to 18 years entering the store on Crawford Street, Queanbeyan about 6pm on June 4 and allegedly threatening a staff member with a knife and demanding cash, NSW Police said.
The teenager, Caucasian in appearance and about 170cm tall, later fled the store empty-handed.
He was last seen running south along Sheedy Lane, towards Morisset Street, wearing a blue-hooded jumper with a purple and yellow baseball cap, grey tracksuit pants, and black shoes.
Queanbeyan detectives have urged anyone who can identify the teenager to contact police on 6298 0555.
