THE Collarenebri Bullettes travelled to Cobar on Saturday to participate in what would only be their second ever game of league tag. Cobar went into the match coming off some strong performances and were keen to continue on their winning way.

With the Colly coach’s car breaking down, with all their gear they were up against it before the first whistle had blown.
In the true spirit of the game Cobar helped to organise a set of tags and the game was underway.
Cobar played well and combined for some great tries.
Despite the 50 to nil result it was a competitive game.
Their attitude is really something to be proud of.

Both teams were in high spirits but Colly were “a bit underdone with experience”.
The Bullettes improved out of sight since their first run on the field, defending a lot harder and working together to shut down runs.
Captain Laura Faint said they were unlucky not to score a potential three tries.
“Their attitude is really something to be proud of,” Faint said.
“Their dedication is impressive and they are keen to play.”
Roosterettes captain Bek Harris agreed there was good energy on the day.
Nikki Davey received Cobar’s players’ player while Lisa Travis’ attack was “on fire” and Zoe Harland was “killing it” kicking seven conversions.
