Every club in Group 19 attended including Guyra, Glen Innes, Armidale, Inverell, Ashford, Warialda and Tingha.
Moree teams had a number of players in the running for awards on the night as well as a number of players in the various representative teams.
Moree Boomerang’s president, Mitchell Johnson, said the night was very enjoyable.
“It was a positive night for the group and a chance for people to get together from the different teams,” Johnson said.
“Group 19 have a rotational system for the presentation night and this year the Boomerangs had the honour.
“It was a very special night for us as it was the first time that we have had the opportunity to host such an event.
The feedback from players and guests had been nothing but positive and those present enjoyed the night.
“A special mention must go to Peter Presnell and the guys from Guyra who entertained the crowd toward the end of the night with a great version of Watch Me (Whip 'Nae Nae).”
Moree individual award winners were Boars player Brenton Cochrane for A grade highest try scorer, Boomerangs players Lloyd Munro Jnr for A grade highest point scorer, Jaram Haines for rookie of the year and Madison Smith for NBN player of the year.
Both the management committee of Group 19 and the Moree Boomerangs RLFC would like to thank the Moree District and Services Club for allowing us to hold the presentation night.
