Riders travelled as far as Upper Horton and Narrabri to attend.
The riders enjoyed a variety of events including bends, running tee, flags, point to point, barrel, straight barrel, pony twist and bondfield bounce.
Organiser of the Gravesend Sporting Day and Campdraft, Charlee Haley, said the day went well.
“The weather was ideal and the day was well attended by competitors and families,” Miss Haley said.
Major awards were presented at the end of the day and included highest point score under 7s (led) Clare Shawyer, highest point score under 7s Jacob Williams, highest point score under 9s Lola Barwick, highest point score under 11s Holly Duff, highest point score under 13s James Walker, highest point score under 15s Tayla Wilkinson, highest point score under 17s and fastest barrel of the day Rhiannon Byers, highest point score associate Charlee Haley, highest junior campdraft score Matilda Barwick, courage award Alexandra O’Neill and encouragement award Bellah Johnson.
“Thanks to the judges, sponsors, David and Chris Jennings for running the canteen and the Zone Chief Instructor Julie Morgan for attending,” Miss Haley said.
“Without your support the day would not have been possible.”
The next club event will be held in the September school holidays.
