During the past year, the shop has provided benefit to more than 400 residents with a community pantry providing low-cost food stuffs and free bread, fruit and vegetables.
The service targets residents who have struck hard times, and has aided more than 100 families in its first year.
Four families have received donations of food, clothing, kitchenware and manchester after their homes were destroyed by fire and all assistance has been owed to the support of the community.
Organisation spokesperson Casey Ryan extended thanks to the community for its continuing support of local opportunity shops and similar organisations.
She also thanked the volunteers who keep the organisations providing aid where it is needed.
