The championships usually consist of three rounds at Gravesend, Warialda and Bingara. This year Moree Pony Club hosted an additional round, making the event more competitive.
“We made a brave move from the showgrounds to the racecourse and it was fantastic to see great support from other clubs and our own club members,” a spokesperson said.
Moree Pony Club thanked their sponsors and the volunteers associated with the event.
“We would also like to thank Brody Towns, the course builder, for donating all his time and expertise, plus jump judges Drew Towns and Julie Morgan, and everyone else who helped out preparing the grounds, moving gear, setting up and more. Without the support from all these wonderful people and businesses we would not have been able to run such a successful competition.”
