Ashleigh Taylor, Angie Ralph, Dione Munro, Alison Quirk, Paige Clissold, Rachel Stacy, Maddie Johnson, Maddison Schoupp and Edweena Wilson were the lucky students who had the chance to meet many health professionals.
Those health professionals presented information on various careers in health: medicine, nutrition and dietetics, nursing, medical radiation science, pharmacy, speech pathology, medical research, psychology and mental health, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.
Students then had the opportunity to choose three areas of interest and find out more detailed information, participate in hands-on activities and ask the health professionals questions. It was an enjoyable day and the students thanked Moree Secondary College for subsidising the excursion, Reynolds and Fogarty for providing a bus while the school bus was being serviced, and Stephen Lott for driving the bus.
