Fourteen school gardens have been built since 2009 in western NSW. Recently Collarenebri’s public school was visited by Member for Barwon, Kevin Humphries and CEO for west Medicare Local Stuart Gordon to open a garden.

Gardens help teach students nutrition
The gardens will grow different plants to teach students about nutrition and how to cook meals. Along with the garden, an outdoor kitchen with bench seating was built.
