A report in the local, regional newspapers on Saturday, August 30, regarding the behaviour of two boys aged 12 and 13 towards a senior citizen park volunteer, her pet dog and park wildlife in Tamworth prompted a reply along the following lines; and after a series of totally unacceptable events of vandalism in Moree.
Unfortunately, for such a long period of time at state level, there has been an absence of sufficient “foot soldiers” formerly known as “truancy officers”.
The request of such a well-disciplined system of supporting regular school attendance and parental responsibility has let parents, communities and children down very badly since school socialisation is a community expectation at state level.
Consequently the question is asked: does New England Health West need more localisation and separation by a new state?
New proposed higher and high rise, polluted lifestyle and does the area now need a local Juvenile educational, residential, correctional centre?
