to help them celebrate the opening of their new store at 80 Heber Street, Moree tomorrow.
In‐store activities start at 1pm and Lee, a great supporter of CRT’s Local Blokes, will be at the store from 3.30‐5pm to meet visitors.
Lee’s CDs will be on sale during the afternoon with all proceeds going to the We’re for the Bush Drought Appeal conducted by the NSW Farmers Association in partnership with the Daily Telegraph, Sunday Telegraph, 2GB and the Commonwealth Bank.
All donations to the appeal go to the Salvation Army who provide ‘food and fodder’ to those in need through vouchers redeemable at CRT outlets and IGA supermarkets.
CRT is part of the national Ruralco Holdings Limited group. Lee has been Ruralco’s ambassador since 2009 and together, Lee, CRT and Ruralco have supported numerous charity initiatives and organisations that assist rural Australia.
Troy Hunt, WMG Agriservices’ business unit manager, said the team were thrilled Lee was joining them.
“It’s a real honour to have Lee at our new store opening. He’s a huge campaigner for people in the bush and we’re very happy to support the appeal. I’d like to invite everyone to call into our new store and meet Lee and some of our great supplier representatives. You’ll also be helping a fantastic charity initiative when you buy one of Lee’s CDs,” Mr Hunt said.
He said the new store was in a great location in the centre of town and a lot of effort had gone into the fit‐out of the store to provide customers with a great shopping experience.
“Our new drive‐through and increased floor space have allowed us to expand our range and we can now offer portable cattle yards, ammunition and gun safes as well as insurance and finance services.
“We also offer specialist agronomic services, seed, fertiliser, water and irrigation products. We have all the local know‐how to help our clients achieve great results whether they’re involved with irrigated cropping, broadacre farming or livestock production,” he said.
“We’ve got a great team with plenty of experience and a genuine focus on helping our clients. With CRT and Ruralco behind us we’re in a great position to do that,” Mr Hunt said.
WMG Agriservices at Moree is also keen to foster the farmers of tomorrow and they conduct work experience programs through the store for young people in the community interested in a career in agriculture.
