The five students who attended the school were left without direct transport outside of parents at the end of last year when the bus was “canned”.
Tulloona public school spokesperson Fiona Murphy said it wasn’t good enough of the State Government and it shouldn’t have been left to a local council to pick up the slack.
“Not having a school bus deters people from attending school and we were required to host a fundraiser to cover the cost of running the bus.”
Moree Plains Shire Council Mayor Katrina Humphries said it was another case of the State Government not delivering on what they should.
