A report will be prepared for the coroner but police are not treating the death as suspicious.

The 31-year-old man was last seen in Narrabri about 10.30pm on July 7.

Officers from Oxley Police District were notified of his disappearance the following day and commenced inquiries.

The man's vehicle was located near Narrabri Creek on July 9.

Following further extensive searches, the man's body was discovered in waters near the Namoi River on Friday morning (July 23).
