Moree Secondary College's class of 2020 will be able to celebrate their formal next month without having to fork out too many of their own dollars, thanks to Domino's Moree.
Domino's Moree managed to raise a total of $776 for the year 12 formal, during a fundraising day on Wednesday, October 14.
Two dollars from every pizza sold on Wednesday was donated to the year 12 formal, which year 12 adviser Jason Auld said will go towards the cost of tickets for the students, the cost of photography and thank you gifts for various organisations who have contributed to the formal, including those which have donate formal dresses and suits.
"A huge thanks to Jill and the team at Domino's and everyone who supported us in our formal fundraising," Mr Auld said.
A total of 388 pizzas were sold throughout the day, which is well above what would normally be ordered on a typical Wednesday for the local pizza store.
Domino's Moree own Jill Adams said the team were excited to be able to help two of their own staff members, Jack and Amy, who are both in year 12, as well as the rest of their cohort.
The year 12 formal will be held on Friday, November 13, two days after the final HSC exam.
Mr Auld said the school is hoping to finalise plans this week.
