Looking for some exercise in a fun and social environment? Then come along to the Moree Services Club every Wednesday night for a game of barefoot and social bowls.

Men, women and teenagers are all welcome to try their hand at this centuries-old game.

Size and strength matters in many sports but not lawn bowls. It is a game of skill, strategy, accuracy and finesse.

Don't worry if you do not have the proper footwear as you can be barefoot and the club will supply you with a set of bowls.

The members of the club will be able to give new players a few tips on how to play the game.

It only costs $6 and you are always ensured of several hours of fun and banter.

The club has a courtesy bus available should you wish to drown away the worries of the busy work day. You never know you might just get interested in the game and join the club.

Lawn bowls is a game whereby you can represent your country. So, if you have ever harboured the dream of wearing the green and gold now is the time to start training as the Commonwealth Games is being held towards the end of 2022 so you have time to get skilled up!

Contact the Services Club for more information or we'll just see you at the Club at 6pm for a 7pm start.
