Moree were beat 4-1 by Wee Waa United FC on Saturday, which now drops them down to third on the ladder, Tyson Gainey scoring the lone goal.
They travelled south light on numbers, and Urquhart said they weren't able to stay consistent throughout the game.
"The first half we started out well. In the second half, the first bit was fine and then they just ran away from us," he said.
"They've got a really fast bunch of blokes in that Wee Waa side and on the turnover they're kind of hard to stop.
"They've just got a few quick blokes and if we're missing numbers it comes back to bite us in the end."

The lack of substitutions available on the bench for Moree really made an impact, but there were still some issues that need to be improved.
"Normally some of the guys that would be coming off the bench were starting, just kind of half half put ourselves out of it in the second half," Urquhart said.
"We could move the ball around fairly well. We could get the ball to the guys up the front, but they struggled to get to the ball.
"It was the turnovers that killed us.
"[We need to] make sure our forwards are coming off the line and coming to get the ball, instead of just waiting for the miracle through ball."
Moree will be back at home this weekend to take on Narrabri Sporties FC Elevens.
