A Goondiwindi truck driver has had his licence suspended after he was caught drink-driving during a random breath test in Moree on Thursday night.

Traffic and Highway Patrol officers stopped the fully-laden road train in Gwydir Street, Moree at about 8.30pm on Thursday, August 6.
The driver of the heavy vehicle was subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive reading.
The 52-year-old man was arrested and taken to Moree Police station where he returned an alleged breath-analysis reading of 0.116.

He was charged with mid-range prescribed concentration of alcohol (PCA) and his driver's licence was immediately suspended.
Police will allege the man was driving the road train, laden with hay, from Victoria to North Star, 100km north-east of Moree.
The man, from Goondiwindi in Queensland, has been issued with a Future Court Attendance Notice to appear in Moree Local Court on Monday, September 21.
